Butt Sex at The Davenport

I think the reasons republicans are so against the gays and any legislation in favor of gay rights is, they hate themselves and take that out of people who are capable of admitting to their homosexuality.

A Republican Washington state legislator Richard Curtis has decided to resign in another Republican gay sex scandal. For those of you who haven't heard, Curtis a man who is supposedly not gay, voted against every gay rights bill that came through his office; met some guy at a sex store in Spokane, took him back to his room at the fancy Davenport hotel, and shagged him. Unfortunately for him, the guy he met wanted a little money out of the deal, which Curtis didn't pay. If he was smart, he should have paid, considering the guy only wanted a thousand bucks for his participation in the butt sex. Let's look at some of the facts of the case, Curtis was the one who called the cops, and he actually admitted to meeting the guy in the sex store, and taking him back to his room. It is at this point the stories differ. Curtis said he was just helping the guy out. Yeah right! He's a republican remember, they don't help people out, that's why they are republicans.

Just like when you invite a girl back to your private island; if you pick up someone at a sex store in the middle of the night, there is only one reason you take them back to your room.

There you go again. Judging every Republican based on the what... the 3 or 4 that turn out to be gay.

Who knows, maybe these guys have been conflicted their whole lives, being raised by homo-haters to fight gay rights, or maybe even the people that are actually gay, but decide against acting on it because of their religion (which last time I checked, this country is all about freedom of religion, no matter which party you are from).

Then these guys finally decide to become who they trully are. They may not have gone public yet because they are still conflicted, not knowing how to approach their change in heart (or cornhole in that matter) yet.

Then, someone sets them up. They are caught and publically humiliated and a media circus is made out of it.

They publically shame the guy. By exposing and humiliating them for something they are trying to figure out how to handle on their own, the people are committing a non-violent, judgmental hate-crime.

Now the guy is forced into a defensive position. A natural human response to any situation where they are attacked - whether it be verbally or physically. Because he had not yet figured out for himself who he trully is or how to handle this situation, the defense reverts back to what he was raised on - what his instincts are. Usually this involves going into denial and trying to force out who he was about to figure he really is. This is basic human phsycology.

So, by publically humiliating this guy, shaming him, attacking him, mocking him, and tearing him down for who he really is, you liberals and/or democrats are committing the same type of violation that you have, for years, voted and fought against.

In your public protests and fights in the senate and congress, you CLAIM to demand the rights and laws to let people be who they are without discrimination, without fear of hate-crimes, without humiliation or being offended, and by law - to live lives however they want to live them.

This is why I hate liberal/democrat ideology. You're political actions are purely hyprocritical. You fight for everything I mentioned above, yet as soon as someone from across the fence chooses to fall in that category, you commit the exact violations that you fight against and base all your principals from.

Leave these guys alone. Let them figure out who they are and give them a chance to break free of the hate-mongoring values they were raised on or believe in. Who knows, if you let them be, they might have just changed their minds and fought WITH you for once. That would have been one less person to fight against, and one more vote for your side - all because you decided not to "burn him at the stake".

You are only hurting yourselves.

It’s not the fact that three or four turn out to be gay that pisses me off about these republicans. Nor do I condemn all republicans for it. You’ve read my blog enough, and know me well enough to know, I support quite a few conservative issues, and republican candidates. I vote the issue, or the person, not the party line. My problem with these three or four people is the fact that they are such hypocrites about it. If this person held a press conference and announced he was gay, I would totally applaud the guy. He hasn’t decided to become who he “truly is.” Instead, he speaks out about the wrongness of homosexuality and believes they should not be provided equal rights, all the while knowing deep down that he is gay and sneaks around for his jollies.

I’m fully in support of freedom of religion; it’s too bad that religion doesn’t support the same belief. Religions support the idea of, my religion is right and yours is wrong. If you don’t support mine, you are going to hell, and since you are going to hell, it’s ok for me to hate you and not support your rights. Look at your own statements, “This is why I hate liberal/democrat ideology”. I never said I hated this guy. I’ve only referred to him as a hypocritical asshole. Yet you, the republican/conservative brought hate into the mix. Why do you hate liberal ideology? Why do you hate people who have different views from yours? Is it your religion that causes you to hate? Or your republican/conservative views that teaches you to hate? Or has it just been to long since you last smoked weed? Drugs, pre-marital sex, and all the other stuff you do that is at odds with your conservative views.

This guy doesn’t deserve to be publically humiliated for being gay or even by being confused about it. He deserves to be humiliated for using his public office to push his self hatred issues onto others, something he has done through his voting record and speeches.

I mentioned exactly why I hate liberal ideology already, so I don't need to explain that again.

What I'm saying is that democrats/liberals don't even give this guy a chance. Sure he's voted against homosexuality, but since then, he's figured something out about himself that he will be changing his mind and his views, but because he is being bashed, he's backed into a corner and is never given a chance to come out.

If our government (keep in mind it is Democratic Majority) spent these resources that are dedicated to pre-maturely exposing people for political faults that really shouldn't make a difference to us, we'd actually have more resources dedicated to fighting terrorism, of which the same government constantly states we don't have enough resources fighting domestic and international terrorism.

But no, because the Demo/Lib's must bash these guys, our country is right where this government always puts it: Not a step farther.

We still have no resources dedicated to what really matters, and a few guys that could have changed their vote to help people's rights but now won't because the way the Dem's bash them, they are re-convinced that deep down, what they are doing is completely wrong.

As for the religion thing - might want to clear that up as well. As least my religion. We don't hate other religions. Sure, we want to convert them and let them discover the joy in what we believe, but if someone doesn't want to listen to us or convert, we will let them be. WE don't judge people for what they decide. It's not our place. It's like conversations we've had in the good ol' carpool - I've talked to you about it, but you didn't want any part of it, so I left it alone and guess what, we're still buds and I don't judge you for it. That's how my religion works.

As for you trying to call out my drugs and pre-marital sex... nice try. Sure I've smoked weed a couple times since I stopped my habitual smoking, but it's very rare when I do. My bad. At least I'm not into all the shit I used to be. Life, and my religion is not about being perfect. It's about constantly improving oneself. That's exactly what I'm doing. As for the sex, my fiancee and I have actually been abstinent since we got back into church. hehe... one of the reasons we bumped up our wedding date (thanks again for the hookup on photography).

Lastly, I am a Republican, but not a conservative. There is a difference.

LOL, good response in me trying to call you out. But I’m still going to keep calling out these republicans or conservatives, whenever one pops up in this situation, or in and out.

And I will continue to dog democrats and liberals.

At least we can agree to disagree without murdering each other.

People must think we hate each other... You think they'd be surprised to know we are actually pretty good friends? LOL

It's kind of like George Bush Sr hanging out Bill Clinton. Except I don't have an 2 idiotic sons and you don't play the sax.

hey, you are getting married, so give it time with the sons. And I sort of play the guitar.
