Death by Firing Squad

There isn’t much about Utah’s conservative governing methods that I like, but I will give them one thing; when they execute someone, they do it with style. Earlier today Ronnie Lee Gardner was executed by firing squad. That’s right Utah still allows the firing squad. And before all the cruel and unusual punishment people freak out about it, it was by choice. Gardner had the option of choosing method of death and that was his choice.

Gardner was convicted of shooting attorney Michael Burdell during an escape attempt. So doesn’t it seem a little fair that he should be shot to death as well? I think so.
