Here is a bit on news that isn’t really all that surprising, “A new survey of Americans' knowledge of religion found that atheists, agnostics, Jews and Mormons outperformed Protestants and Roman Catholics in answering questions about major religions.” For example, more than half of the Protestants involved didn’t know that Martin Luther is the one who instigated the Protestant Reformation.When it comes to Christianity and religion the United States claims to be one of the most religious countries in the world. Which of course, makes it even more interesting that our devout scored worse on the test than atheists and agnostics who scored higher than Mormons or Jews, with Catholics scoring the worst.
