Heat Waves and Global Warming

Whenever we have a winter in the Unites States with excessive snow or cold, all the right-wing tea-baggers start spouting off that the weather is proof that global warming is a hoax. Anyone with any intelligence knows that seasons fluctuate and one cold winter doesn't prove anything. But, I have noticed that we have two summers in a row with excessive heat and droughts. So why aren't the right-wing tea-baggers going off about the proof of global warming? Oh, I know, because they are right-wing tea-baggers.

Dolphin Deaths in Gulf of Mexico due to BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and the 'Perfect Storm

After the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the largest oil spill on open water to date, residents along the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico witnessed a spike in the numbers of dolphins washing ashore. Suspicions linking the increase in dolphin deaths to the oil contamination led authorities to treat the dead dolphins as evidence against BP.

Movavi Video Suite Review

A few years ago I purchased (yep actually paid for) a copy of Movavi Video Converter. Overall it didn't do anything that I couldn't get free software to do, but since I paid for it, I would occasionally use it to convert videos that I would downsize for my iPod or phone.

A couple of months ago I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 and when I went to reinstall the product I received a notification, "The activation key you have entered is not correct. Please make sure you have entered a valid activation key."

Since I had only activated it once on the same computer with the previous operating system, I e-mailed Movavi customer support. The response I received told me my version was to old and that I would need to upgrade to a newer version, which of course I would have to pay for.
