Movavi Video Suite Review

A few years ago I purchased (yep actually paid for) a copy of Movavi Video Converter. Overall it didn't do anything that I couldn't get free software to do, but since I paid for it, I would occasionally use it to convert videos that I would downsize for my iPod or phone.

A couple of months ago I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 and when I went to reinstall the product I received a notification, "The activation key you have entered is not correct. Please make sure you have entered a valid activation key."

Since I had only activated it once on the same computer with the previous operating system, I e-mailed Movavi customer support. The response I received told me my version was to old and that I would need to upgrade to a newer version, which of course I would have to pay for. Since I wasn't that impressed with the product in the first place, I decided not to upgrade, and instead, write a blog post about how lame it is they don't support a user trying to reinstall a legally purchased copy of the software.
