Save Yourself - Forward to Someone Else Email Scam

Is is wrong that I did this?

I received a scamming email from Save Yourself  SaveYourself52@3907.com

Your computer was infected with my malware, RAT (Remote Administration Tool), your browser wasn't updated / patched, in such case it's enough to just visit some website where my iframe is placed to get automatically infected, if you want to find out more - Google: "Drive-by exploit".

My malware gave me full access and control over your computer, meaning, I got access to all your accounts and I can see everything on your screen, turn on your camera or microphone and you won't even notice about it.

I collected all your private data and I RECORDED YOU (through your webcam) SATISFYING YOURSELF!

After that I removed my malware to not leave any traces.

Transfer exactly 1400$ with the current bitcoin (BTC) price to my bitcoin address.

It's a very good offer, compared to all that horrible shit that will happen if I publish everything.

My bitcoin address is:

I give you 2 days time to transfer the bitcoin.

The email was a bit longer than that, but that's not the point. I replied to this person saying this...

Hey, if you want to try to weezle money out of someone try this guy he is a total jackass and deserves it.
- I then provided the name, email address, birth date, and address of someone I strongly dislike -

Good luck,

I know that it was probably bad form to do that, especially because the attempted scammer won't get very far with the other person. And for those that believe in karma it's probably bad karma. But, in my defense the persons name I sent to the scammer is a real jackass!

Note: The scammer never replied thanking me for the tip. What a jerk.
