Blame the Dumb Guy

Another fantastic example of airport security, and why they are a bunch of fucktards! A 53 year old man was carrying a firearm and went to hop on a plain at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport . He went through security and was ready to go when he remembered he had a pistol on him. Being the responsible citizen he is, he went back to security to report it. Instead of bitch slapping the security personal for letting him through, they charge the man with transporting a firearm into an air carrier terminal.

The man obviously wasn't trying to sneak the gun through, he was trying to do the right thing, he's just a old guy who apparently can't remember that he's got a gun in his pocket. And these fucking idiots, charge him for doing something wrong. These are the same fucking idiots who will take away your bottle of water, and pull you out of line for looking at them wrong, but can't catch a man with a gun. And finish it off with acting like he is at fault because they are fucking idiot shitheads.

Let this be a lesson to everyone. If you ever make it through airport security and realize you have something you shouldn't, just keep on walking.

Even His Own People Don't Like him

The other day I posted about how I can't believe Mitt Romney is doing so well in his bid for president. Apparently the other republican candidates, are having a hard time with it as well. And from a recent article on MSNBC it doesn't have to do with his lead, or his never ending supply of fat cat money, apparently it's because he's a dick! Click here for the full story.

Passenger Bill of Rights

Here in Washington State, lawmakers are looking at passing Senate Bill 6269. The bill states that if people are traveling and the flight is delayed, and are stuck on the tarmac for more than three hours, airlines have to provide passengers with food, water, and toilets. How sad is the state of air travel when we have to pass laws forcing airlines to provide basic necessities such as a place to take a piss. Or how sad that people have to create groups like The Coalition for an Airline Passengers'' Bill of Rights.

According to the Seattle PI there are a couple other items being proposed in the Washington law; "Along with mandating the water and food service, a clause says airlines would have to refund 150 percent of a ticket price to passengers whose flights are delayed for more than 12 hours. It also calls for airlines to publish a list on their Web sites of all flights delayed more than 30 minutes." I know I've had to deal with extended delays, and not only do the airlines not offer to do anything about it, they are rude and act like they are doing you a favor by getting you to your destination at all.

Of course, the airlines are trying to dispute it, saying that it would be difficult to manage if each state has it's own laws. New York for example already has something similar. They say that it should be up to the national government to regulate. I actually agree with that, and it should be up to the national government. The problem is our national government is such a joke right now, that they can barely regulate wiping their own asses, so unfortunately it does end up falling on the states to handle. Oh, and assuming the federal government does take this issues up, according to David A. Castelveter, a spokesman for the Air Transport Association of America, they will oppose that as well.

Here is a link to the petition being sent to congressman Mike Thompson. Currently the petition is up to 21581signatures.

Good Riddance to Bad People

Some of you might remember the news from a couple of weeks ago, about the tiger that attacked three boys at the San Francisco Zoo killing one of them. Most people were speculating that the boys were taunting the tiger before it attacked.

I've been waiting to comment on this story until the findings came out, and they have. And yes, what we were all thinking happened did happen. MSNBC reports that "Paul Dhaliwal, 19, told the father of Carlos Sousa Jr., 17, who was killed, that the three yelled and waved at the tiger." Apparently the boys had been drinking and standing on a rail next to the tiger pin. As far as I'm concerned, the only bad thing to come out of this was that they had to kill the tiger, and that the tiger didn't have the chance to eat the other two boys before it was shot. This is why I hate zoos. We take these animals out of their natural environment and put them on display for little fuckers like these kids! You know what I would love to see, is now that we know the truth, we take the other two kids and toss them into another tiger pin and let that tiger have its way with these boys.

The worst part is it is not like this if the first time we’ve heard of kids harassing animals at the zoo. What the fuck is wrong with these people’s parents! I would love to have a job where I walk around the zoo with a large club, and every time I see someone pounding on the glass, yelling at animals, or throwing stuff into cages I take my club and smack the kids over the head with. And assuming the parents are actually anywhere near the kids I'd beat the shit out of them with the club.

Stupid piece of shit people who should be throw in a cage with the biggest meanest beast we can find!!!!

Family Revelations

Listen to his response about being related to Dick Cheney and hunting. Witty responses like that are why I'm leaning towards voting for him over most of the other top candidates.

Mitt The Ratt

I just decided to check the current status of the elections and candidates, only to find that Mitt “The Ratt” Romney is the Republican front runner. What the fuck Republicans! Apparently the same Republican retards that helped elect the current dumbass of a president are now voting for this guy! Romney opposes just about everything I agree with, and supports everything I don’t. He opposes same sex unions. Opposes the “Fair Tax” law which would basically repeal income taxes, something McCain supports. I’m sure Romney goes to bed each night masturbating to the Fox News coverage of the Iraq war. And would love to completely take away a woman’s right to have control over her own body. He could care less about using stem cells to save lives. Finally, just look at the guy. Doesn’t he remind you of the uncle who really, really likes to play tickle?

I’ve been hoping that this election would boil down to McCain and Obama. That way come election time we would actually be choosing between two good candidates, as compared to the last election. But hey, if Romney does get the Republican nod, it will make my decision that much easier. Go Obama!!!

Check out this video on CNN and his hostile attitude when the interviewer tries to ask him a question about his religion. Is this how he’d handle questions as president?

Hummer Bummer

I usually carry a small point and shoot camera with me, but unfortunately not always. And this weekend was one of those times that I didn't have it but wished I did.

I went to Best Buy, parked my car, went inside, purchased my things, and came back out to find that a yellow Hummer H2 had parked next to me while I was inside. The fantastic part about it was that behind the H2 was a tow truck lifting the H2 up to tow it off. The owner was of course talking to the tow truck driver, obviously not happy about having hiss big yellow 50 to 60 grand status symbol towed away. I however had no problem starting my Toyota and driving away wishing I had a camera to take the picture of that thing being towed away.

5 to 10 on 520

I haven't blogged much this week and it's not because I haven't had cranky thoughts, or stuff to blog about, I think what happened is posting something somewhat positive on Monday threw my crankiness out of whack. That and I've been busy. I was thinking about blogging today on the presidential elections, but we've still got many months to go, so I'll hold off on that. I was also thinking about blogging on the writers strike and how it's fucking with my television enjoyment, but I'll save that for later.

Instead I'm going to blog about something more local and not nearly as interesting, the 520 bridge. For those of you out of the area, we in Western Washington have this crappy little floating bridge the goes from Seattle to Bellevue over Lake Washington. It's pretty much permanently in danger of sinking and as usual the politicians are talking about, and making proposals on what to do about it. Yesterdays news was how the governor wants to add a toll to the bridge in order to pay for the new one. I actually like this idea, and have commented many times about my support of tolls to pay for roads. It forces the people who use them to cover the cost, and promotes mass transit. What's pissing me off about this story is the amount of the toll they are proposing. The Seattle Times has it at $6.00 to $7.00, and another news source had it at $5.00 to $10.00. what the fuck are they thinking! People aren't going to pay that much to cross a bridge every day. It's like, lets take a good idea, but set the amounts at such an exorbitant rates that we will never be able to sell it to the public and end up not doing it at all.

This last election they had a tax proposal that would have paid for the bridge. But they bundled it with a bunch of other crap and it was such a huge increase, that voters said no. So now the rich politicians who don't have to take the bridge, and who don't understand that people would rather spend that 5 bucks a day at Starbucks, want to take a good idea and fuck it all up again. And after the public cry's out, and the toll isn't implemented, we'll see another news story and interview with our politicians scratching their heads trying to figure out why people are upset.

Oh and now that Gregoire has proposed this, I'm sure next week we'll see a news story that has Rossi criticizing it and talking about how he'd have something better if he were governor. Look Rossi! You lost, get over it!

Bill at C.E.S.

As much as I trash talk Microsoft on this blog, I do have to give Bill Gates some props. At this years CES for his last keynote speech, he did a parody of his last day, and it's actually pretty funny….

Nationalize This

Since I blog about politics quite a bit, some of you might be expecting me to post on the Iowa caucus from yesterday. And how the guy (Obama) my super smart readership is leaning towards, according to the poll currently on this site. But, I'm not going to blog about that today. Iowa is some crappy little red state, that shouldn't have nearly the sway on politics that it does.

What I'd really like to blog about, is something way more/less important - Britney Spears. Last night Spears had the police called on her because in a drug or drunken induced haze, she refused to give up her two kids to her ex-scumbag Kevin Federline.

You might be thinking, why would a prince of the blogsphere such as myself blog about such trivia? Why am I adding this to the ranks of the men's room in my office, or trash talking the local police force? I'll tell you why! Because this is further proof that we need to enact laws that certain people should not be allowed to have children, and in some cases get fixed so they can never have children. Fine, maybe at first we didn't know she would be such a nut. But it's obvious now that she is. And while she is in that psych ward, they need to drug her up, strap her skanky ass down, and tie those tubes. This woman should never be allowed to procreate again. If you are thinking that I'm leaving K-Fed out of this rant, you are wrong. That knob needs his shit snipped as well. The guy has way to many kids as it is, and should have had his junk cut after the first one or two, but lets not dwell on the past.

Obama you are a smart man, and yes probably to liberal for this, but do it anyway. If you end up as the next president, make this a top national policy priority! Get those other Democrats in office to pass a law restricting the rights of certain people to have children, or at least have more children. If you need help in working out the details, let me know. I'll volunteer my time for such a worthy cause.

Maxed Out

I watched an interesting movie this weekend called Maxed Out. It’s a shockumentary about credit card debt and the shifty practices of credit card companies. I don't normally do movie referrals on this site, but I'd recommend checking it out. Especially if you have a child about to turn 18 and enter college. I will warn you it's very left leaning, republican and big business bashing, but it's also interesting to learn some of practices credit companies use to weasel people out of money.

Here is the trailer
